Enrollment

  • When does enrollment start?

    We have open enrollment year round. Please contact us to start the process. enroll here!

  • Is the Heights School licensed?

    Yes, The Heights School is licensed by the State of NJ. We adhere to all licensing regulations, and exceed the state standards when possible.

  • How old does my child have to be to enroll?

    Children have to be at least 6 weeks of age in order to enroll at The Heights School. We have classes for infants through PreK (4-5yrs old).

School Day

  • How long is the school day?

    Our hours are 7am-6:30pm. Full day students can get dropped off and time during our operation hours. Half day students must be picked up by 1pm. Scheduled lesson plan activities begin at 9am.

  • Do you offer after-school programs or extended stay services?

    We do not offer after school or extended day programs, however if you have a child enrolled in a part-time program at another center, we can accommodate a modified schedule upon request. Please contact us to discuss details.

  • Can I send my babysitter or nanny to pick up my child?

    Yes, you can send a babysitter or nanny to pick up. You must first add the person to the list of emergency contacts in your child's file. Then, you must notify the office that someone other than a primary parent or guardian will be picking up on a given day. If a babysitter or nanny comes to pick up a child without a parent's written and verbal consent, we will contact a primary parent before releasing the child.

  • How many children are in each class?

    The number of students varies per class, based on room size and state ratios. Please contact us to find out information for a specific age group.

  • How do I check to see if school is cancelled due to weather, snow etc.?

    Snow closing information will be posted on our website, and all enrolled parents will receive an automatic text message alert prior to 6am if school is closed.
